“The Glen Alone”
Description
The crew lowers a boat to investigate "an ugly form" in the moonlit. It's the Glen Alone, "rugged yards and splintered spars, her mainmast and mizzen gone," six skeletons and a note that food is gone. We row away: "her deck seemed swarmed with shadows"
Notes
