“The Fate of Harry Young”

Description

Harry Young murders the city marshal of Randolph, Missouri and escapes. Cornered, he kills six policemen and flees to Texas. Taken at last, he is returned to Springfield, Missouri for trial

Notes

The final days of Harry Young were eventful. Having killed the six policemen in a shootout at the family farmhouse, Harry and his brother Jennings fled to Texas (the home state of Harry's new bride). Captured in Houston, the brothers killed themselves (apparently on the advice of their mother, who was herself in prison in Missouri). - RBW
